
Eligibility
First Things First awards grants to:

Non-profit 501c3 organizations providing services in Arizona (both secular and faith-based)

Units of Arizona government (local, county and state entities as well as schools and school districts)
-
Federally recognized Tribal governments or entities providing services within Arizona
-
Arizona institutions of higher learning (colleges and universities)
-
Private organizations providing services in Arizona
All potential applicants must demonstrate organizational, fiscal and programmatic capacity to meet the requirements described in the scopes of work in Requests for Grant Applications.

How to Apply
First Things First offers funding opportunities throughout Arizona to address the specific development and health needs for children birth through age five, and their families.
By partnering with the community, First Things First is building a comprehensive early childhood system that is high quality, interconnected, timely, culturally responsive, family driven, community-based and directed toward enhancing a child’s overall development.
First Things First solicits competitive Requests for Grant Applications (RFGAs) as a means for delivering early childhood development and health services.

- Register your business with the State of Arizona, at www.spirit.az.gov in the business/supplier information section. While not a requirement of First Things First, registering provides your business with electronic notifications of formal solicitations for product or service categories that are selected as part of the business profile.
