First Things First - the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (ECDH) is made up of 9 members chosen to represent the state’s diversity. The Directors of the Department of Economic Security, Department of Health Services and the Superintendent of Public Instruction, or their chosen designees, serve as non-voting ex officio members.
The appointees include men and women, Democrats, Republicans and an Independent from six counties. Each member brings experience in early education, K-12 education, health care, juvenile justice, higher education, philanthropy, business and Tribal government. All members have been confirmed by the Senate.
