Parents in the area will soon have new options for their children.

Green Valley, Arizona – Despite being a retirement community, Green Valley is experiencing a growth in demand for child care services.  Parents in the area will soon have new options for their children.

At Los Ninos del Valle preschool at Casa de Esperanza, a library and lobby are being converted into a new classroom.  When finished by the end of March, it will be able to accommodate 15 to 20 toddlers.

Recently, there has been a waiting list for parents wishing to enroll their children at the school.  The preschool serves about 55 children ages 2 through 5.  With the new classroom expansion, enrollment will increase by a third.

The classroom expansion, playground improvements and a plan for future growth at Los Ninos de Valle, is being funded by a $77,600 grant from First Things First.
